Joseph Dowdell - Owner & Head Trainer

----Joe Dowdell graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Sociology {1988}. While in college, Joe began a successful career as a professional model, which spanned a period of 10 years. During his travels throughout Europe and the rest of the world, Joe developed a serious interest in both the martial arts and fitness training. Since undertaking a career in the Fitness Industry, Joe’s certifications include:

----Corrective High-performance Exercise Kinesiologist—Level 2 {C.H.E.K. Institute}.

---- As a result, he is a recognized subject matter expert in today’s fitness industry. Over the past 10 years, Joe has traveled all over the country studying as well as interning with many of the world's leading experts in the fields of Physical Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Strength & Conditioning, etc. Presently, he is enrolled in a 10-month internship studying the Muscle Activation Technique. Upon completion of his internship, he will begin pursuing a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine at the United States Sports Academy.
