Originally a Peak intern, and now a PEAK trainer, Katie Mack has been in the personal training industry since early 2011. Upon graduating from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, minor in Biology, and a Pre-Med concentration, she began to work as a personal trainer & group fitness instructor at a small corporate chain in Boston. During her time there she also interned with Northeastern University’s Strength & Conditioning Program where she worked with athletes from many sports teams, including swimming & diving, baseball, hockey, basketball, rugby, lacrosse, and track & field.
In early 2012, Katie left Boston to pursue her career in New York. Beginning as an intern at Peak Performance, she was mentored by Dan Trink, Ed Williams, and Joe Dowdell. Upon completion of the internship, Katie was hired by PEAK.
With her desire to learn and grow, both for herself and her clients, Katie trained for her first round of NPC Bikini competitions in Spring 2013. After this experience, Katie loves helping push people to discover their inner drive and motivation to achieve their goals. Her interests include body composition improvements through exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle choices, and corrective/rehab exercise. She hopes to make every client's life better by helping make them healthy, performing well, and looking the way they desire.
