Chris Smith is a native New Yorker from Rockaway Beach. Athletic from a young age, Chris has experience in a wide variety of sports including track, martial arts, strongman and powerlifting. A competitive lifter, he holds several World and National records. In high school he became interested in strength training and eventually turned that passion into a career as a personal trainer. Since then Chris has worked with people from all walks of life, from athletes to grandmothers.

Chris specializes in integrating strength training and body composition techniques to help clients become stronger and fitter. Through a dedication to education he has earned certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (personal trainer) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (strength and conditioning specialist). He also holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from St. John's University. In addition, Chris is an active contributor to many fitness publications including and T-Nation.
