"I really wasn't into training when I first heard
about Joe. My friend, Ines Rivero, was working out with
him and she convinced me to try him out. I'm a very lazy
person and it takes me forever to get myself into the right

Growing up in Berlin, Germany, I participated in
track and field. I competed in the hurdles, short sprints
and the 4 X 100 relay. After suffering a knee injury, I
was unable to continue with my training. About a year and
a half ago, I began modeling, so it became important for
me to regain my fit appearance. Working with Chris Comfort

I began training with Joe Dowdell at Peak Performance
in preparation for my photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated
Swimsuit Issue. Because of the high profile nature of the
Swimsuit Issue, I wanted to make sure that I was in the
best shape possible for the shoot. So, at the suggestion
of my agency, I met with Joe and we began working together
3 days a week. In addition to our training sessions, he
referred me to a nutritionist, which was also a tremendous
